Family Bankruptcy Immigration Attorney - Omar Carmona

Omar Carmona, an attorney licensed to practice law in Florida and Puerto Rico, specializes in family law services, bankruptcy and immigration legal help, and litigation. In his international practice, Mr. Carmona dedicates a considerable amount of time to helping businesses and individuals secure temporary visas and permanent resident status, as well as protecting assets in the United States.

Born in Puerto Rico, Mr. Carmona moved to the mainland United States at a young age. He attended Oviedo High School and completed two bachelor's degrees at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Legal Studies and Spanish. He was awarded a full scholarship to complete a Master’s degree in Spanish and assisted Fulbright Professor Dr. Humberto Lopez Cruz in Spain. He later obtained his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, where he engaged in internships and comparative international law courses in London and Spain and contributed to the Law Review. Mr. Carmona also served as a law clerk for Honorable Judge Daniel Domínguez of the Federal Court for the District of Puerto Rico. After law school, he worked as a legal consultant for a Bankruptcy Trustee at the Middle District Bankruptcy Court of Florida. He then served as a legal consultant and associate attorney managing the bankruptcy section of a local family practice firm with locations in Tampa, Orlando, and Maitland. Subsequently, he was hired by another local firm as an associate attorney to broaden their practice in bankruptcy and civil law.

Mr. Carmona is fluent in both Spanish and English.
